I Hate The 4th Of July
I don't hate the day, I hate that people all over this park think it is all right (even though it is specifically against park rules) to set off M-80's and Thunder Bombs that explode near or over my home and drive the dawg crazy, rattle the dishes in the cupboards and make me a quivering, stressed out wreck from all the loud explosions.

I hate all the noisy fireworks, etc too...because they drive Bailey bat-shit! She sleeps practically on my HEAD or slinks around following me everywhere I go. The poor thing.
They are supposed to be "illegal" here in our little bedroom city to Mega Swampland. But our police force has gotten to where they seem to be afraid to patrol our streets. I think they were out on the highway looking for escaped mass murderers or something! Needless to say, we, too, had quite a lot of noisy fireworks. Dangerous is this drought. Scary for Simone!
I kno what you mean. Someone by my house was setting off M-80s too. I jumped every time, plus my cats were freaked out!
I think I would have called the Police and reported them.
